Do you ever need reassurance that God is with you?
Life gets hectic with too many tasks to complete in one day, or others’ expectations drain your emotions until you have nothing to give. Maybe you feel isolated in your grief at this time of year. Perhaps you don’t feel good enough because you messed up too often. Guilt and shame creep in, and thus, your sense of peace has left.
Do you need reassurance God is with you?
Below is a simple yet powerful prayer of comfort in God’s love and reassurance of the Almighty’s care for you.
You can pray this for yourself or others or share this prayer with a friend who needs consolation. It can be a blessing over someone or prayed at the dinner table. You can whisper this prayer.
A simple prayer
Think of yourself surrounded by God’s love, enveloping and sheltering you as a bird covers its young with gentle wings. Then visualize God walking with you on your journey through this life, always by your side to listen and give guidance. God, as your constant companion, will provide all you need, whatever it may be, including courage and strength.

In addition, imagine God watching your back to keep you safe from harm. “His faithful promises are your armor and protection,” Psalm 91:4. From above, showers of divine blessings come upon you, so much so that the blessings spill over those around you. But, best of all, God will impart peace to steady you no matter your situation or stress, the peace that supersedes your comprehension.
Peace that is unexplainable
Prayer:
May God’s love surround you.
May he walk before you to guide you
Beside you to give you courage
Behind you to keep you safe
Beneath you to give you strength
Above you for blessing
Within you to give you his peace.
